maude 10-05-2009 9:39:39 AM CST do you sell lace frontals?
Melissa lacewigsseller@gmail.com 09-28-2009 1:23:44 AM CST REPLY TO SHANA:
Yes all our wigs are full lace wigs so you can hold it up in a ponytail or let it down if you wish. The wig lasts at least a year or a year and a half, depending on care. We issue you detailed instructions of how to take care of the wig.
If you scroll towards the bottom of the site, you will see 'how to measure' section. You will find a picture showing you how to go about doing the same.
You may braid your hair underneath if you wish, your hair needs to be as flat as possible. We also ship a wig cap which you can use underneath if you'd like. I hope I answered all your questions. Let me know if I can help with anything else.:)
Melissa lacewigsseller@gmail.com 09-28-2009 1:18:57 AM CST REPLY TO BEA:
If you take care of the wig as we instruct on the wig manual which e ship to you with your order, your wig should last up to a year sometimes even a year and a half, It just depends on care and maintenance.
We do not recommend coloring the hair as we use our own factory made hair colors. We have had no experience with other colors. Please select the right colors from our hair colors section found on our website. Please email us for more details if you have any more questions. We look forward to getting you the hair you'd like.
Thank you :)

Yes, the lace color is determined by your skin tone. Iff you'd like help with this, just submit your picture to us and we can help you select the right lace color or you can tell us which celebrity's skin color you're closest to. I hope this helps.
Thanks and please let me know if you have any questions or if there's anything I can assist you with.

citibabe 09-19-2009 9:03:27 AM CST I need to know how to determine the color of the lace. Is it dependent on skin tone?
Melissa lacewigsseller@gmail.com 08-31-2009 3:18:38 AM CST REPLY TO MIRANDA: You're beautiful! I am sorry about what you have gone through. We hope that we can help you get the look of your hair back. Please call us to ask any questions that you may have regarding the order specifications. And yes with Sabrina, you can straighten and curl the hair back up if you wish. When you wash this hair, it will loosen up the waves but you can always restore the look with a curling iron or straighten in out completely.
I hope I answered all your questions. Feel free to ask us any more that you may have.
Thanks
Melissa

I work out a lot too. For a longer hold I use both tape and glue together. It's great! We give you instructions on the lace wig manual; how to apply it using the combo.
citibabe 08-19-2009 5:24:04 PM CST Another concern, how do you determine the color of the lace? Is it dependent upon skin color?
citibabe 08-19-2009 5:15:09 PM CST I have been researching full lace wigs for some time. I am someone who works out a LOT and decided against using the adhesive strips but still wonder if the glue will hold when I am running.

Melissa lacewigsseller@gmail.com 07-25-2009 12:43:47 AM CST REPLY TO MEKIA:
Hello Mekia, We aplogize for not getting your question answered sooner. You have a great hairline. In my opinion, the wig would end up being too forward, looking unrealistic. I would advise shaving off this much, as shown on the picture. That's just my opinion. You can try and wearing the wig before shaving and just see if it is too forward on your head, or you can send us a picture for our opinion.
Mekia 07-21-2009 1:40:11 PM CST Looking at my hairline would I have to shave it in order to place my wig on properly?
Melissa lacewigsseller@gmail.com 07-16-2009 12:02:32 AM CST REPLY FOR JAY:
Thank you for your inquiry. It is often difficult to apply glue or tape on such a hairline, since there's hair which prevents the adhesive from adhering onto your own hairline.
If you place the wig in front of the hairline, usually the wig is too forward and it ends up looking unrealistic. Our clients that have this type of hairline, and absolutely need and have to wear the lace wig, end up shaving the hairline so that they can place the wig at the right and more realistic place. I hope I answered your questions. Feel free to ask away. :)
Thanks
Melissa

Melissa lacewigsseller@gmail.com 07-15-2009 11:54:45 PM CST REPLY FOR ROBYN:
I am sorry to hear about the sickness. We take pride in rebuiding confidence to women losing their hair.
As far as the styles you should get, let me ask you this; are you more of a blonde person or more on the darker colors? Also, do you like short or long? With the lace wigs, you have the choice of either one, and also any type of hairstyle really. If you get a straight wig, you can put it up in rollers or use a curling iron to curl it. If you get a wavy hairstyle, you can also keep it straight with a straightening iron, so you really have the versatility to switch up hairstyles as you wish. You get an invisible hairline with baby hair that will make the wig look soo real. Undetactable! no bandannas! The baby hair definitey will help in getting that natural hairline look.
As for the hair accessories (glue, removers, etc)we have a whole list of our recommended products nand where to purchase them. Please let me know when you need the info.
You absolutely cannot use regular hair products on the lace wig as it is very delicate. We provide all this detailed information in our lace wig manual which we ship to you with your wig.
Please feel free to ask any more questions through our email or by calling us, I hope I did answer your questions. I wish you all the best and God bless you!:)
Jay jyumikodur82@hotmail.com 07-15-2009 1:25:26 AM CST I have what you would call a "Usher" hairline. (See pic) my hair almost meets my eyebrows and I really want to purchase a lace wig, but I was wondering how a lace wig would work for my hair line.
Robyn robynkf@rochester.rr.com 07-12-2009 7:21:43 PM CST Hi, I'm going thru chemo and I am about to lose my hair. I don't know a thing about wigs but I know I am not going to wear one of those bandanna scarves that shouts "cancer patient" to the world. Can you please hold my hand through the process and give me some pointers on any styles I should avoid? Where does one get the glue to hold the wigs on? I want to get the most beautiful wig possible, wavy and long, so I can walk proud and tall through this horrible ordeal. Thanks in advance for your guidance.
